Churchyard Visitor
We’re delighted that a hedgehog has found us. He/she can be seen here arriving, and then leaving several minutes later.
Alongside the hedgehog hotel in the Churchyard we’ve installed a hedgehog feeder.
We’ve been regularly topping up the food in the feeder as there are mice nearby who raid it several times a night.
Once they’ve come out of hibernation, hedgehogs travel quite extensively at night, looking around for beetles, caterpillars, worms and slugs.
Now that one has found our feeder, we hope he and his friends will become regular visitors.
