Music
Music plays an integral part in our worship of God in that it allows us to express all our emotions i.e. joy, sadness, wonder, adoration etc from the heart to God in a way that the spoken word often fails to do.
At St Mary’s, we are able to celebrate the diversity of musical styles at two of our regular Sunday services: 9am and 10.30am.
Music @ 9am
This consists of a traditional robed choir, accompanied by organ and viola, and uses the hymn book ‘Common Praise’ as its main music source.
The choir practices on Tuesday nights from 7.00pm - 7.45pm in the Church.
